Floor's was once a transport company which, during the early 1950s, began building its own trailers.
It turned to importing and assembling Mack trucks in 1952 and, following Mack Truck's decision to set up its own assembly plant in 1964, Floor's Handel en Industrie BV began building its own trucks under the FTF name from 1966. The trucks incorporated many Mack components, but later models used Detroit Diesel engines, Fuller gearboxes or Allison automatics and a British-designed Motor Panels cab. In recent years production has been centred on 6x2, 6x4, 6x6, 8x4, 8x8 and 10x4 types, all in the heavy-duty category.
