Effettivamente è una bella bestiolina!!!
Io mi chiedo se a quell'altezza ha ancora senso manovrare dalla cabina???? Io avrei costruito una macchina con la possibilità di avere due opzioni di guida: una tradizionale magari per il posizionamento e le manovre. L'altra con postazione di comando esterna e radiocomando..... per demolire. Non sò se avete capito cosa intendo??
Tanto visto che si lavora esclusivamnte di telecamera che senso ha stare in cabina??? anche per la sicurezza dell'operatore...:help: Vincenzo :help: - Per ricordare un amicoCommenta

They have mounted a small shear because they don't need a big one at it's first demolitionjob.
But it is tested and inspected last week and it can carry a 5ton tool at maximum height 90mtr.Commenta

It is Wednesday morning when I received a call about an horror accident.
Ad Swanink, owner of the biggest Dutch special machine engineering company STC BV, and one of real High Reach Demolition engineering pioneers had died.
Ad and his company were asked to solve problems with the worlds highest demolition machine the Cat 5110B TUHD-90-5. They became the cause of its death. Out of nowhere the machine’s massive undercarriage collapsed, and caused the breaking of the suspension that holds the massive counterweight. Whit a second bang it fell to the ground, crushing Ad who was working at that same spot.
My hearth stopped, my breath was taken, the ground under my was feet blown away.
My plans for that day were to visit the jobsite. Asked to come and see what Ad was going to change to make the machine the promised success and relieving it from its weak spots. My plans changed so I was not present at the time of the accident.
Would it have been different? I don’t think so! But,….. I don’t know…!!!
Ad Swanink, together with David Kocurek, was founder of what many see as the next evolution of the High Reach Demolition Machine - true machine-engineering pioneers.
Just when things were about to chance for Ad his company! – It had received orders to build some revolutionary ideas of Ad – machines that would have gained the well-deserved global recognition.
I was always welcome. We have talked for hours about machines, methods, new solutions, techniques and innovations. No hidden agenda, or smart talks of some kind. Just pure shared machine passion. I'll never forget his enthusiasm, passion, skills, and last but not least, his unprecedented hospitality and friendliness.
Will this accident jeopardize or even halt progress in the high reach sector?
It is not what Ad Swanink would have wanted, but It will definitely leave a big emptiness and a long dark shadow for many years.
All involved are left behind asking; Why…?

Mi pare di aver capito che durante l'assemblaggio la macchina è caduta a terra, non che abbiano ceduto il carro cingolato...

Scusa Cat, d'accordo ha ceduto il carro con le relative conseguenze (fatali!).
Ma io intendevo dire che il tutto ha ceduto mentre lo assemblavano, non a lavoro finito.

The rebuild process of the Cat 5110B THRD90-5 into Cat 5110B HRD88
Everything is new only the steel tele-sections were used to build this HRD88.
The first demolition job will be in two weeks.

Un CAT 5110B da demolizione lo avevamo anche a Torino... Non era proprio come quello della Euro Demolition però era un piacere vederlo...
Piccolo OT: Sapede chi lo ha comprato e dove posso rivederlo?
